What is Chiropractic?
Chiropractic is the only health care profession that allows the body to heal itself naturally by focusing on the musculoskeletal and nervous systems. Chiropractors correct subluxations with highly specific adjustments. A subluxation is an improper motion of spinal segments which irritate nerves resulting in a decrease ROM, muscle spasms, and can cause surrounding spinal muscles, ligaments, discs and joints to be painful, tender, and inflamed. An adjustment is usually a short, quick thrust to a specific portion of a specific vertebra in your spine. There may be a specialized table or instrument utilized depending on your condition. Your chiropractor will also focus on the soft tissues around the spine reducing myofascial trigger points (knots) and hypertonic (tight) muscles.
Why should u see a Chiropractor?
There are several causes of a subluxation including:
1. Physical: trauma, repetitive motion, and posture
2. Chemical: diet, drugs, and toxins
3. Emotional: stress, and
depression.

Will it hurt?
It is very uncommon for an adjustment to hurt. We use gentle procedures that allows you to relax when being adjusted. However, everyone's body reacts to a stimulus in different ways so there may be some discomfort. Icing the affected area after your treatment should relieve this discomfort.
Is it SAFE?
